VORTEX 2004 will be held at the beautiful Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California.
On the bluffs and beaches of the Gaviota Coast, between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains, Bacara, a resort of stunning natural beauty and relaxed luxury. Spread over 78 oceanside acres of sandy beach and breathtaking bluffs, Bacara is inextricably linked to the sea.
Every room and specialty suite is luxurious, understated, intimate, and relaxed. All rooms feature a private patio or balcony and are equipped with high speed internet access, multi-line phones, mini bars, soft Frette robes, slippers, Frette bed and bath linens, DVD players, and many other amenities.
At Bacara, you'll find two renowned 18-hole golf courses nearby that offer an inspiring combination of challenge and beauty, as well as preferred tee times for guests. Each of three signature restaurants has a personality all its own, with inspired menus and access to our world-class wine cellar.
Attire is casually elegant, with resort attire being the norm, with jackets recommended for the Miró Restaurant. Weather is generally mild and sunny, with low humidity and seasonal temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
A discounted rate of $305 per night, plus tax has been arranged for VORTEX attendees. Reservations must be made by August 25, 2004 to receive this rate. After August 25, rates and availability cannot be guaranteed. Please note: Your registration fee does not include hotel accommodations or companion attendance.
