EverNote CorporationProduct: EverNote 1.0
Description: EverNote 1.0 lets anyone capture, organize, and easily find all
types of notes created over the years: typed or handwritten notes,
Web page excerpts, URLs, passwords, sketches, template-based
forms, documents, and emails. With EverNote, your notes are
now accessible anywhere, anytime, on any computer or device
— even on a smartphone in remote locations without a connec-tion.
DEMO says: The market is seeing a lot of activity in the personal data manage-ment
space, from enterprise applications that aggregate corporate
intelligence to personal tools that collect Web research. All are
fine and dandy if you’re desktop-bound, but it’s tough to take that
intelligence on the road. Until now. EverNote changes the game
by aggregating notes in one place via a slick desktop application
and then synchronizing those notes to mobile devices. It’s a sim-ple,
elegant, and highly useful application.
Market Outlook: Professionals and consumers take numerous notes at work, at
home and on the go. The projected market for the note manage-ment
application business is estimated at $2.7B per year by
2007. Source: eTForecast, IDC, In-Stat/MDR, and Zelos Group
