Description: Mobot combines powerful visual search technology with the phe-nomenal growth of camera phones to equip consumers with a fun, compelling, convenient, and safe method of interacting with consumer brands. Consumers use their camera phone to send a picture of a visual cue to Mobot, which provides a personalized response. Mobot is transparent to the medium. This key attribute means that print ad copy, logos, out-of-home ads, product pack-aging, T-shirts, etc., need not be altered in any way.

DEMO says: Mobot sits at the intersection of millions of camera phones and mobile marketing. Taking advantage of complex visual search algorithms, Mobot lets consumers capture images of advertise-ments and receive related and appropriate marketing offers sent to their mobile phones. Mobot is simple for consumers, who receive only the information they request, and ideal for mar-keters, who can send highly targeted messages based on the profile of the consumer. It might just be the first closed-loop print advertising method that really works.

Market Outlook: Mobot is a new tool for the marketer who needs to deliver meas-urable, integrated, multi-touch point, marketing campaigns, and develop deep relationships with customers.
